Ingredients

  • 200 g beef chunk
  • 150 g king oyster mushrooms
  • 1 cm thinly sliced ginger
  • 1/2 bulb finely chopped sweet onion
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce

Instructions

  • Cut beef into small one cubic cm cubes.  
  • Use black pepper, Chinese cooking wine (or red wine), and salt to marinate the beef for10 minutes.
  • If mushrooms have any dirt, brush them off gently instead of washing them. Then, Icut the mushrooms into cubes.
  • Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan over a medium-high level. Add the ginger slices andthe finely chopped onion.
  • When the onion turns translucent, quickly fry the beef until the beef changes colour.
  • Add mushrooms and stir fry for two more minutes. Add oyster sauce and coat the beefand mushrooms evenly. Adjust the taste by adding some sugar.
  • Enjoy it with a bowl of rice.
