Braised Pork Steak Noodle Soup

Ingredients

  • 150 g thin Chinese noodles
  • 1 bunch scallions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 1 rack spareribs
  • 500 g pork loin, thin sliced
  • 1 tsp Chinese cooking wine
  • 1 head bok choy
  • salt

Instructions

  • Wash the pork steaks and pat dry well.
  • Heat the oil over low-medium in a frying pan. Place the pork steaks next to each other on the pan. Fry both sides of the steaks until the meat turns white.
  • Add soy sauce, granulated sugar, cooking wine, and scallions to the pan. Turn the heat to medium-high. Cook the steak until the sauce gets sticky. Set aside.
  • Cook the noodle according to the instruction.
  • Cut off the base of the bok choy. Wash the leaves and blanch bok choy for about one minute.
  • Warm the chicken broth.
    Place the noodle in a bowl and pour the warm chicken broth to cover the noodles. Add the toppings, the braised pork steak, and the vegetables. Season the noodle soup with salt, if necessary. Enjoy the noodle soup immediately.
