Brush off any dirt on the mushrooms. Then cut the mushrooms into thin slices, about half the size of the snow pea.
Use a sharp knife to trim the ends of snow peas and remove the thin string from both sides of the snow peas. Cut the snow peas in half.
Fill a medium saucepan with water. Bring the water to a boil over high heat. Add the snow peas and boil the snow pea for 30 seconds. Immediately drain the peas in a colander.
Add two tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan over high heat. Stir fry mushrooms and snow peas for about two minutes. Season the food with salt and pepper.
Serve warm with a bowl of rice.
